Thank you for supporting Pink Shirt Day!
On February 27th, we celebrated another successful Pink Shirt Day Rally at the London Drugs Plaza on Georgia and Granville.
Hundreds of people wore pink, waved flags, and sold t-shirts and buttons by donation to show the community what it really means to “Be Kind”. Net proceeds from Pink Shirt Day sales are granted to anti-bullying programs in BC and across Canada (such as Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Kids Help Phone, and KidSafe Project). The rally itself also brought people together, giving the community a chance to collectively take a stand against bullying!
We are grateful for everyone who came out to support. Pink Shirt Day may be over, but we can still continue to show the community what a difference kindness makes!
Check out this incredible video from the West Vancouver Police Department, showing their support of Pink Shirt Day and how they engage with their community.
