Pink Shirt Day 2021
Pink Shirt Day is coming up on February 24th, and we’re excited for you to show your support with us. Over the month of February, and throughout the year, CKNW Kids' Fund's Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness for anti-bullying, as well as raise funds to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem.
You’ll likely notice our Pink Shirt Day merchandise is a little different this year...
The white t-shirt with a powerful pink rainbow logo represents the evolution of our cause. We wanted to show a little extra love for the LGBTQ2S+ community in light of recent events in the province, while promoting a year-round message of kindness and compassion for others. Our message, ‘Lift Each Other Up’ is meant to promote respect, dignity and inclusivity for all. Pink Shirt Day is very aware of the call for social change related to systemic racism and discrimination being inextricably linked to the core purpose of our cause: that how we treat each other matters, and that we can do better.
In addition to the online store, Pink Shirt Day merchandise will be available for purchase in London Drugs locations across BC beginning the week of January 25th. Visit your local London Drugs location for a quick and easy way to show your support this Pink Shirt Day!
Despite Covid-19 restrictions, we have decided to move forward with Pink Shirt Day 2021 and will be offering an experience different from previous years. We're excited for you to join us (virtually) for Pink Shirt Day this year and will be sending updates throughout the coming weeks regarding campaign events and projects. You can also find us on social media for more information on Pink Shirt Day 2021. Stay tuned!
